Today, the Hatsize Board of Directors appointed Guy Hummel as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to replace Sue Miller, who found it necessary to resign as CEO for personal reasons.

Guy Hummel, Hatsize’s founder and President, assumed the position of CEO during Sue’s recent absence, and he will be continuing in that role. Guy is the ideal candidate to lead Hatsize in this time of rapid growth, since Guy was CEO of Hatsize for the company’s first nine years of operations.

During his first tenure as CEO, Guy helped launch the business, establish the virtual lab market, win marquee customers such as Symantec and IBM and achieve company profitability. As a result, Guy has intimate knowledge of Hatsize’s products and technology and extensive experience with Hatsize customers and their market needs.

Today, Guy is backed by a strong leadership team including co-founder and CTO Tom Hull, CFO David Howard, VP of Marketing Vicki Morris and VP of Operations Edwin (Andy) McBride.

“We would like to thank Sue Miller for her dedication and service to Hatsize, especially for strengthening the leadership team and raising $5 million in Series A funding,” said Don Van Mierlo, Hatsize Chairman of the Board. “Now, with Guy back in the saddle and the cloud automation market growing rapidly, we have everything we need to succeed.”
