CALGARY, ALBERTA – December 1, 2017 – Hatsize Learning Corporation has named Eoin Dunne as its new Chief Technology Officer effective November 27, 2017. Eoin was previously Vice President of Software Development and has worked with Hatsize for over five years in various roles.

“Eoin has a demonstrated history of excellence with Hatsize,” CEO Ryan Hoult comments, “We are sure that he will excel in this position as he has in all of his previous roles within Hatsize.”

As CTO, Eoin will be responsible for various tasks associated with the new role including product, infrastructure and software development management. Previously Hatsize functioned with two distinct teams; infrastructure and software development. The two teams will now be combined into a single development operations group managed by Eoin.

This combination will revolutionize the way Hatsize products are developed and managed, allowing for a cohesive and unified support team.   “This merging of infrastructure teams will allow for more streamlined processes,” Ryan comments, “I’m excited to see the opportunities that might arise from this grouping.”

Eoin is ready for the challenges and looking forward to the new responsibilities that come along with the new position, particularly those associated with asynchronous learning solutions within the EdTech space.  “I’m excited for the opportunity to help take Hatsize to the next level.  We have a fantastic SAAS offering and an amazing group of dedicated employees.” Eoin says, “We will continue to focus on what has made us successful: creating innovative products and providing world class service and support to our customers.”  CTO is a new role at Hatsize and its need is reflective of recent growth within the company.
